accent and placement of color. Good use of texture in the finishes. One suggestion would be to tone down the balance tube a hair. It might be the lighting, but it looks like the only piece of shiny chrome on the whole engine, and therefore a bit out of place and too strong of a distraction for the eye. I would like to see it the same finish as the silver water tubes in front. The timing belt cover does NOT need to be painted and the flat black of the plenum is a perfect covering for the red of the valve covers. The blue on the underdrive pulley is out of place, albeit not seen clearly once the engine is installed. I would rather see black, flat silver, or red there. Thus speaketh the reigning uber art dork elitist snob on TT.net, me.
